A life's litter / by Lionel James, [193-?].

The author fashions a sequence of stories around the various horses he has owned. A proportion of the stories in this volume, either actually or in paraphrase have appeared in The Times, National Review, Chambers' Journal, The Blue Peter, and The Illustrated and Sporting Dramatic. The manuscript contains handwritten corrections. Several versions of the story represented. Both holograph and typescript versions.
